Great Event Photography from a charity football tournament in Nottingham!
Action, portraits and a magazine cover in one long Saturday
I recently spent a long Saturday shooting event photography of Alliance Healthcare's charity in Nottingham.
It was a hot day, and the shoot involved a wide range of subjects, including action, spectators, general colour, awards, and then at the end of it all, setting up a portable photography studio and shooting a magazine cover!
In addition to shooting the football matches, I also shot corporate portraits and the prize giving!
So, full on from 9am till 5pm, and every lens from the 400mm DO to the 17mm was used. But the stuff that I was particularly pleased with was the narrow DOF pictures from the 85mm and 28mm…
At the end of the day they raised an enormous amount for charity!
Plus I was happy with all the event photography shot, including the action, sport, and portraits.
But Phew!
